Terms of Service

1. Who we are and these Terms

Fluo is operated by Fluo Labs FZ LLC ("Fluo", "we", "us"). These Terms apply to the Fluo mobile app, the Fluo club tool and this website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Fluo does

Fluo is a marketplace for sport in the UAE. Players use it to find venues, book and pay for courts (alone or split with other players), join open matches, book coaching and enter tournaments. Venues use it to run their courts, schedules, coaches and bookings. The venue, not Fluo, provides the court, the coaching and the facilities, and is responsible for them. Fluo takes bookings and payments on the venue's behalf.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Fluo. If you are under 18, you may use Fluo only with the permission of a parent or guardian, and payments must be made by an adult.
• You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code sent by SMS. Keep access to that number secure; anyone who can receive its codes can use your account.
• Give accurate information. One account per person; accounts cannot be transferred.
• You may deactivate or delete your account in the app (see section 8).

4. Bookings and payments

• Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). Before you pay, the app shows the court price, Fluo's service fee and any discount applied.
• A booking is confirmed only once payment succeeds. You pay by card through our payment provider, Stripe, or from your Fluo wallet.
• Unless the venue sets different times, a court must start at least 2 hours after you book it.
• Times shown are the venue's local time.
• Discounts, including the first-booking discount and venue loyalty rewards, apply to the court price only, never to the service fee. The terms of each offer are shown in the app.

5. Split payments and open matches

• For a private booking with friends, the booker pays the full amount to confirm the court. Invited friends can pay back their shares in the app.
• When a friend’s payment settles, their share is returned to the booker’s original card payment or wallet. A pending, declined or unpaid invitation does not cancel the confirmed booking; the booker receives no pay-back for an unpaid share.
• Open matches are visible to other players, including players who are not members of the venue. Other players in a match you create or join can see your name, photo and rating.
• Competitive open matches may be limited to a rating range. Friendly matches never change your rating.

6. Cancellations and refunds

• Each venue sets its own cancellation policy, and the app shows it before you pay. Where a venue has not set one, the default is: cancel 24 hours or more before start for a 100% refund, 6 to 24 hours before for 50%, and under 6 hours for no refund.
• Unless the venue sets a different cutoff, you can cancel your own booking up to 1 hour before it starts.
• For a private booking paid in full by the booker, cancellation applies to the amount remaining on the booker’s payment after friend pay-backs already returned. For open matches, refunds apply to each player’s own payment.
• If a venue or Fluo cancels a booking, you get a full refund.
• Refunds go back the way you paid: card payments to your card, and wallet payments to your wallet. Card refunds can take several business days to show, depending on your bank.
• Coaching sessions and tournament entries follow the cancellation and withdrawal rules shown when you book or enter.

7. Your Fluo wallet

• Your wallet holds AED credit that you add by card, or that you receive as refunds.
• Wallet credit can only be spent in the Fluo app. It cannot be withdrawn, cashed out or transferred to another person.
• Wallet credit does not earn interest and is not a bank deposit.
• If you delete your account while your wallet has a balance, that balance is forfeited. The app shows you the exact amount and asks you to confirm before deleting.

8. Deactivating or deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app. Before you can delete it, you must cancel or play out any upcoming bookings and coaching sessions, withdraw from or complete any tournament you have entered, and pay or decline any split share you owe. Once deleted, you can no longer sign in. We keep the records we need for accounting, refunds and disputes, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can also email info@myfluo.com to ask for your data to be removed.

9. Reviews and content you share

After a completed booking, the booker or a player who paid may rate the venue once, with optional text. Reviews, photos and other content you post must be honest and lawful. You keep ownership of your content and give Fluo a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it in the Service. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

10. Conduct

You agree not to:

• Break any law or regulation, or venue rules while at a venue
• Harass, abuse or endanger other players, coaches or venue staff
• Give false information, or book or pay using someone else's account or card
• Interfere with the Service or try to get around its payment or booking rules
• Use the Service for unauthorised commercial purposes

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

11. Sport and safety

Sport carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for being fit to play. Follow the venue's safety rules.

12. Intellectual property

The Fluo name, logo, app and website content belong to Fluo Labs FZ LLC. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without our permission.

13. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Fluo is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from activities at a venue, or from a venue's acts or omissions. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under UAE consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date at the top. Changes do not affect bookings you have already paid for. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dubai, UAE.
